About
LINK Logs is a blog created by the staff of Torrance Public Library for the generation known as “Baby Boomers.” We hope this blog facilitates access to Lifelong Information, Networks, and Knowledge (LINK), and connects you to information and people that will help you achieve your life goals.
Our primary purpose in creating the blog is as a vehicle to communicate with our Library patrons. On this blog, you can expect to find information on topics that relate to you including travel, finances, and health, among many more. You can also expect to learn about local community information and Library services.
Most of all, we want to hear from you! Please use this blog as an interactive space to communicate with library staff and other Baby Boomers. Post comments, give us blog post ideas, add us to your regular list of blogs to read, and join our extended online community!

Hello Torrance Public Library,
My name is David, and I am the editor for Assisted Living Directory – Your LINKLogs blog is great!
I am just wondering if you might consider adding our site to your links/blogroll? Our site is:
http://www.assisted-living-directory.com
We’ve been around for over 5 years – we’re a free information/listing service for assisted living.
Thank you so much for any consideration, – It would really be a treat for us to be included!
With much respect,
David Besnette

You say … “Post comments, give us blog post ideas, add us to your regular list of blogs to read …”
I guess I’m not that tech savvy. I use the library’s computers. I know how to get an email newsletter but how do I get regular blog updates?
It seems to me that I always have to remember to check the blog whereas with newsletters I get them on a regular basis which reminds me to check that website.

Hello! Thanks for reading our blog. We do now have an option for you to receive new posts via email. On the blog’s main page, on the bottom right-hand side, there will be a green tab that says ‘Email Subscription.’ You can enter in your email address there and click the button that says ‘Sign me up!’
